| Comments: | WO97 FILES: Footguards Footguards A to Z 1760-1854 The C-D file only goes through last names beginning with DAY--. I am looking for a Henry H. Dean, b. 05MAY1784 somewhere in Kent. The data I have says that he was drafted into the army and served under Wellington in the Napoleonic wars, and that his regiment (never identified) was sent to Canada in 1814 for the war against the USA 1812-1815. The war ended before his regiment entered combat and he was discharged and subsequently left Canada and settled in New York. LW Peterson |
